Once upon a time there were two crane bothers, Tsume and his little brother Kiba. They lived near a beautiful lake bountiful with a wide array of birds from owls to parrots and flamingos to eagles.
One day, while venturing through unfamiliar territory now infested by humans, poor Tsume was shot dead by a hunter.
